GIMPA Open admission portal for 2025/2026 academic year (Apply Now)
The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) released admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Interested applicants can apply online through the official admissions portal or purchase the form at any designated bank.
General Admission Requirements
To be eligible for undergraduate programmes at GIMPA, WASSCE applicants must:
Obtain credit passes (grades A1–C6) in six subjects, comprising three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and three relevant elective subjects.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES – REQUIREMENTS
Applicants Applying with WASSCE/SSSCE/MATURE/Baccalaureate/O&A-Level/ Diplomas
- School Index Number (Ghanaian WASSCE/SSSCE)
- Scanned passport-size picture (35mm x 45mm) with a white background (All applicants)
- Any National Identification Number (Ghanaian applicants)
- Scanned copy of the bio-data page of your Passport or Birth Certificate (Foreign applicants)
- A scanned copy of the Birth Certificate and Entrance Results Slip (Mature Applicants only)
- Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) Evaluation Reports for Foreign Certificates in, WASSCE/Baccalaureate/O&A-Level, and Academic Transcripts
- Scanned copy of original Certificate(s) and academic Transcript(s) for Diploma Applicants, HND holders and First Degree holders who want to apply for the Post-LLB Programme (Ghanaian applicants)
GRADUATE PROGRAMMES—REQUIREMENTS
Applicants Applying with Diplomas/Bachelor Degrees/Master Degrees:
- Scanned passport-size picture (35mm x 45mm) with a white background
- Scanned copy of original certificate(s) and academic transcript(s) (Ghanaian applicants)
- Any National Identification Number (Ghanaian applicants)
- Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) Evaluation Reports for Foreign Certificates in WASSCE/Baccalaureate/O&A-Level and Academic Transcripts
Two (2) Referees— They will be required to complete a reference form on your behalf.

Where to buy GIMPA admissions forms
GIMPA application forms can be purchased through two main channels: online or by visiting Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) branches. You can purchase an e-voucher online via the GIMPA application portal or by using the USSD code 924200*16#. Alternatively, you can visit any CBG branch to purchase the application form.
Mature Access Applicants
GIMPA provides a Mature Access and Entrance Examination pathway for applicants aged 25 and above who do not meet traditional entry requirements but possess relevant work experience. This route includes an entrance exam covering English proficiency, numeracy, and general knowledge.
