YEA opens Applications for Community Police and Fire Service Assistant.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has officially opened applications for its latest recruitment drive, calling on interested young Ghanaian citizens to apply for positions under the Community Police Assistants and Fire Service Assistant.
The initiative aims to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country and also help in equipping the youth with practical skills with the chance to serve their communities in critical areas of public safety and emergency response.
Application
The application exercise is scheduled to commence today, Thursday June 5 to June 26, 2025.
Applications must apply through the portal and visit the YEA's various offices in the district for support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Ghanaian youth aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Minimum of Senior High School Education
- Priority will be given to applicants with an NVTI certificate and/or artisanal skills.
Conditions of Application
- Successful applicants will be engaged as beneficiaries of YEA.
- Beneficiaries Will be on a two (2) year contract of engagement
Mode of Application
Interested applicants must apply through www.apply.yea.gov.gh or yea.gov.gh or visit the YEA office in your district.
Deadline for Application Process
Interested applicants must apply before the recommended date provided, "June 26, 2025"

YEA highlighted that all application processes are entirely free of charge. No payments are recommended at any stage, including form acquisition, selection, or placement.
Applicants are cautioned against engaging with intermediaries or agents who claim to offer guaranteed selection for a fee.
However, support for the application process is available at all YEA District and Regional Offices across the country.
