According to the rates indicate minimal changes in major currency pairings, underscoring the cedi's resilience in the face of external economic pressures.

As of June 17, 2025, the Ghanaian Cedi remains relatively stable around ₵10.30 to the US dollar. The BoG's daily publication of FX rates offers clarity and predictability for those engaged in foreign trade and currency markets.

Analysts attribute this stability to sustained foreign inflows and prudent central bank policies.

However, they caution that external risks, such as rising oil prices and uncertain global interest rate movements, could influence the currency's trajectory in the coming months

The BoG’s daily mid-rate serves as a benchmark for interbank transactions and is often used by financial institutions, forex bureaus, and businesses to gauge market movements.
