The BoG’s daily mid-rate serves as a benchmark for interbank transactions and is often used by financial institutions, forex bureaus, and businesses to gauge market movements.

These rates reflect the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The narrow spread between buying and selling rates indicates relatively stable market conditions, despite the overall weakening trend.

The cedi's slight depreciation today reflects normal market fluctuations rather than a sustained trend. The narrow spread between buying and selling rates indicates stable market conditions with minimal volatility.

The slight movement in today's rates demonstrates the dynamic nature of foreign exchange markets, where currencies fluctuate based on daily trading activities and market sentiment.

The Bank of Ghana continues to monitor market conditions closely as it implements monetary policies aimed at stabilizing the local currency.
