Zebilla MP Ebenezer Alumire encourages BECE candidates, reaffirms commitment to quality education
The Member of Parliament for the Zebilla Constituency, Ebenezer Alumire, has reaffirmed his commitment to enhance the quality of education in the constituency by encouraging candidates preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to study diligently and uphold integrity throughout their exams.
Addressing the candidates ahead of the examination, Mr. Alumire urged them to resist the temptation of carrying foreign materials into the exam hall.
He highlighted that true success is achieved through discipline, hard work, and honesty, not shortcuts.
“Education remains the most powerful tool to shape our future. I encourage you to prepare adequately, stay focused, and believe in yourselves. Avoid any acts of examination malpractice, and let your results reflect your effort,” he advised.
To bolster preparation efforts, the MP recently spearheaded a key intervention by sponsoring the printing of mock examination papers for 1,500 BECE candidates across the Zebilla Constituency.
The initiative, which cost a total of GH¢30,000.00, was aimed at equipping students with the necessary practice and confidence ahead of the final examination.
In addition to the mock exam support, Mr. Alumire also donated GH¢2,000.00 in cash to assist with the efficient distribution of the materials to schools throughout the constituency.
The gesture was warmly received by teachers, students, and parents, who commended the MP for his proactive approach to improving educational outcomes.
“I believe this is just the beginning. More educational interventions are coming. My commitment to education in Zebilla is unwavering. Together, we can transform the future of our children,” Mr. Alumire said.
