Bank of Ghana releases official daily exchange rate for July 22, 2025.
The Bank of Ghana has published its official interbank exchange rates for Tuesday, July 22, 2025, offering insight into the cedi’s performance against major currencies. These rates reflect the average trading values recorded by commercial banks at the close of business on Monday, July 21.
According to the latest data released by BoG, the Ghanaian cedi is trading against the U.S. dollar at a buying rate of Gh¢10.4448 and a selling rate of Gh¢10.4552. This indicates the rate at which banks purchase and sell dollars to customers within the official banking system.
Against the British Pound Sterling, the cedi is buying at Gh¢14.1015 and selling at Gh¢14.1166.
The euro buying and selling rates stand at Gh¢12.2313 and Gh¢12.2434, respectively.
As of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Ghanaian Cedi remains relatively stable around Gh¢10.43 to the US dollar.
These mid-market exchange rates serve as key reference points for businesses, importers, travelers, and individuals conducting foreign currency transactions.
