The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to resolve the issues raised by the 2020 batch of trained nurses who are still waiting to be posted.

However, Hon. Akandoh assured them that the Ministry is actively working with key institutions, particularly the Ministry of Finance, to secure the financial clearance needed for their deployment.
“The Ministry values the contribution of every trained health professional to the development of our healthcare system. We are working tirelessly to ensure that every trained nurse is posted,” he said.
This engagement is part of broader efforts by the Ministry to address delays in postings and improve the delivery of healthcare across the country.
