The Newly Selected Kusaasi Chief of Greater Accra Visits the National Chief Imam.
The Newly Selected Kusaasi Chief of Greater Accra, accompanied by the Bonfa Achiasi Kusaasi Chief, paid a courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Alhaji Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to seek blessings and spiritual guidance as he prepares to assume his new role.
During the visit on July 14, 2025, the Chief Imam warmly welcomed the delegation and fondly remembered the late Naba Akuolbuudi Alhaji Hamidu Mahama Abugri.
He recounted how he received news of the chief's death and participated in prayers during the 40-day Adua. He said the late chief was a man of humility and service who made a lasting impact on the Greater Accra Kusaasi community.
His Eminence offered heartfelt prayers for the new chief, asking Allah to bless him with long life, good health, and the wisdom to lead with dignity and dedication. He assured the new chief that his doors would always remain open for prayers, advice, and support whenever needed.
The Chief Imam also used the occasion to make a passionate appeal for peace in Bawku.
He urged all factions to come together in the spirit of unity, dialogue, and reconciliation, stressing that peace is essential for development and the well-being of the Kusaug people.
His official visit not only underscored the strong spiritual bonds between leadership and faith but also marked a renewed commitment to solidarity, service, and cultural pride within the Kusaasi community in Greater Accra.
As our new chief embarks on this sacred journey of service, may the Almighty guide him.
