Another helicopter makes an emergency landing in Nkawkaw.
A Volta River Aviation helicopter made an emergency landing Monday morning at Nkawkaw, near the Nkawkaw bypass in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to available information, the aircraft—a Jet A-1 with registration number 9G-AFW—was en route from Accra to Kumasi when the pilot was forced to land due to poor visibility caused by harsh weather conditions in the area.
Citi News sources at the scene confirmed that both the pilot and crew members are safe.
