UEW Reschedules 1st Batch of Mature Entrance Examination Dates for 2025/2026 Academic Year.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has officially announced the reschedule for the First (1st) batch of Mature Entrance Examination dates for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The initial date for the Mature Entrance Examination was scheduled on Saturday, August 23, 2025, which is now rescheduled from Friday, August 29, to Saturday, August 30, 2025.

According to the university, it is aimed at providing ample preparation time for candidates and ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations.

However, the university has released fresh dates and urged all applicants to take note of the changes. The venues, timetables, and other examination guidelines are listed below.

Practical Assessment for BSc. Physical Education Candidates

Date: Friday, August 29, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM

Venue: Department of Physical Education, North Campus, UEW, Winneba

General Aptitude Test (GAT) for Regular and Distance Candidates

Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM

Venues:

Winneba: J.E. Bannerman Lecture Theatre (JEB LT 1 & 2), Kwadwo Baah Wiredu Lecture Theatre (KBW LT 3 & 4), New Lecture Theatre (NLT LT 5 & 6)

Techiman: UEW Distance Education Study Centre, Tadieso

Subject Area Test (SAT) for Regular and Distance Candidates

Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025

Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Venues: 

Winneba: UEW, North Campus

Techiman: UEW Distance Education Study Centre, Tadieso

Instructions for Examination Day

Candidates with special needs and BSc. Physical Education candidates will take the examination at Winneba only.

Arrive at the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the examinations.

Bring a valid photo ID (Ghana Card, driver's license, or passport).

Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.

Come with evidence of payment of the examination fees.

Notice for Payment of Examination Fees

Applicants invited to write the mature entrance examination are required to pay an Examination Fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS200) through the link sent to them via text message.

UEW also urged prospective candidates to regularly check the official university website and their emails for updates, as well as adhere to all examination guidelines to avoid inconveniences.
