NTC Opens Portal For 2025 GTLE 2 Registration—Check Out
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially opened the portal for the 2025 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE 2) registration.
According to NTC, the examination will be conducted in two phases. Fresh candidates (Level 400 teacher trainees) will sit for their papers from Monday, October 13 to Wednesday, October 15, 2025, while re-sit candidates are scheduled to write from Monday, October 27 to Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
However, candidates who hold a minimum qualification of Bachelors Degree in education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education and wish to write the exams for the first time can register as New Candidates.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
- This exams is only available for candidates who are currently in their final year in a teacher education program and not those who have completed their programs.
- Please ensure that you have received your NTC Indexing Number before you purchase a GTLE voucher for NEW REGISTRATION.
- Candidates who have resit cannot register for this sitting.

- Date for the 2025 GTLE 2 examination is October 13 to October 15, 2025.
HOW TO PURCHASE A GTLE VOUCHER
You can purchase a GTLE (September 2025) voucher from any Prudential Bank branch nationwide or simply dial *772*51# to use mobile money.
You can also visit the website exams.ntc.gov.gh
FEES FOR GTLE VOUCHER
The fees remain GH¢450.00 for fresh candidates and an indexing fee of GH¢50.00.
