Unexpected: Bees invade Suhum circuit court.

Court officials, lawyers, and visitors were forced to evacuate for their safety when a swarm of bees suddenly interrupted normal proceedings at the Suhum Circuit Court.

The incident happened around 1pm on Saturday, prompting an emergency call to the Suhum Municipal Fire Station.

An 11-member team, led by ASTNO Duodu Michael, arrived at the court at 1:48 p.m. to assess the situation.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the operation officially began at 1:58 p.m. as the team carefully worked to contain the swarm and restore calm.

It took two hours of efforts before the bees were fully under control, and the court premises were declared safe for use.

Court staff and management, who had been forced to temporarily abandon their duties, expressed relief at the swift intervention.

They commended the firefighters for their prompt and professional response, which ensured that no injuries were recorded during the unusual incident.
