GNAT Opens Recruitment Portal for the Position of Assistant Regional Secretary

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has officially announced the opening of applications for the position of Assistant Regional Secretary. This recruitment aims to strengthen the administrative and operational capacities of GNAT’s regional offices across the country.

Qualified applicants are expected to possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support the association’s activities and represent teachers’ interests effectively. Candidates must also have a relevant educational background and experience in administration or related fields.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their applications through the official GNAT recruitment channels before the stated deadline.

Deadline: October 10, 2025

 General Requirements

Qualifications: Applicants must possess a first degree from a recognized university.

Rank and Experience: The position is for a professional teacher not below the rank of Assistant Director II, not less than Five (5) years of experience on that rank. Or Assistant Secretary II (District Secretary) with Four (4) years of experience in that role may also apply.

Age Limit: Candidates must not below 35 and not more than 45 years of age.

Skills: Applicants should be motivated, dependable, and show initiative, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Computer Literacy: A working knowledge of basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. 

Level of Responsibility: Responsibile to the General Secretary

Renumeration: As determined by National Executive
