Apply Now: YEA Calls for Applications from Youth in Sustainable Charcoal Production
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced an exciting opportunity for young Ghanaians to apply for training and support in sustainable charcoal production.
This initiative forms part of YEA’s commitment to promoting green jobs and environmentally friendly livelihood ventures across the country.
The program aims to equip participants with modern and sustainable methods of charcoal production that reduce deforestation and environmental degradation. Successful applicants will receive hands-on training, technical support, and start-up assistance to begin their own eco-friendly charcoal businesses.

- Coconut Waste
- Corn cobs
- Rice Husks
- Other waste
Into biochar for the production of clean, sustainable, pollution-free charcoal
Eligible Criteria
- Most live within Greater Accra.
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Willing to set up upon completion of training
