Bono Region: Policeman reportedly killed in violent attack in Sampa

A policeman has been reported dead after masked gunmen attacked Sampa in the Bono Region on Sunday afternoon.
The group fired gunshots in several parts of the community during what is believed to be a violent clash between two rival groups.
According to Adom News’ reporter Christian Ofori-Akumah, security personnel have since been deployed to restore calm.
There are heightened patrols across the township as investigations continue to determine the cause of the violence and identify those involved.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
