GES receives financial clearance for 6,249 newly recruited teachers
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has received financial clearance for the disbursement of salaries to six thousand two hundred and forty-nine (6,249) teachers who were recruited in 2024.
According to a press statement released on October 16 and signed by Daniel Fenyi, the Head of Public Relations at GES, clarified that this approval will facilitate the completion of all necessary procedures to guarantee that the affected teachers receive their payments.
In a letter, financial clearance is set to expire on December 31, 2025; the management will ensure that all staff are incorporated into the mechanized payroll in preparation for the salary payments scheduled for November 2025.
GES further expressed profound gratitude to the staff for their commitment and reiterated management’s dedication to providing timely and precise salary payments.
