CTVET releases provisional results for the 2025 May/June examination nationwide.

The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has officially released the provisional results for the 2025 May/June Certificate II examinations, including core, elective, and other technical programmes, covering over 55,000 candidates across the country.

According to the letter issued by the Public Relations Unit on behalf of Mr. Zakaria Sulemana, the Director-General, said candidates who took part in the examinations could access their results online using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers provided on their index slips.

The Certificate II examinations, which formed a key pathway for technical and vocational certification, consisted of core subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship, as well as elective components in various trade and professional areas.

The Commission indicated that 55,018 candidates sat for this year’s examinations, with 40,455 obtaining general passes, representing 73.5 percent.

The official outline “This year’s performance shows steady progress in the competence of learners across TVET institutions.”

Of the total number registered, 40,339 candidates were males and 14,956 were females, representing 73 percent and 27 percent, respectively.

CTVET noted that the gender distribution reflected continued interest among males, while efforts to improve female participation in technical fields were ongoing.

The Commission also disclosed that the results of 112 candidates had been withheld over suspected examination malpractices, pending further investigations.

Some results were also held back due to administrative concerns and would be released once the issues were resolved.

The statement encouraged candidates to verify their results promptly and report any technical challenges through official channels.

Candidates are advised to check their results online at mayjune.ctvet.gov.gh using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers as provided on their index slips.
