Coalition of Unemployed Trained Teachers (CUTTs) Raises Concerns Over Alleged “Secret” GES Recruitment.

The Coalition of Unemployed Trained Teachers (2023 Graduates) has received numerous pieces of information alleging in recent "secret" recruitment of teachers by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The allegations include claims of undue influence by certain individuals, including MPs, DCEs and MCEs, who are reportedly securing appointment letters for individuals for self-interest and in exchange for personal gains.

We emphasize that these allegations, if true, undermine the principles of transparency and fairness that have historically guided GES recruitment processes.

We urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and share it with us and we will continue to gather information and engage with stakeholders to address these concerns.

We hereby call upon our members to prepare and formally inform their parents, guardians and families who have supported them throughout their education, to join us for the mega demonstration aimed at raising awareness and demanding action for our recruitment process which we shall remain at the Jubilee House until our recruitment process commences.

Further announcement concerning the date for the "mega demonstration" and media engagement shall be made in due course.

We remain committed to ensuring that the rights of our members are protected and will take necessary actions accordingly.
