UEW announces reopening arrangements for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has officially announced its reopening dates for the 2025/2026 academic year, marking the beginning of a new session of teaching, learning, and academic activities across its campuses.
According to a notice from the Office of the Registrar, all fresh regular students are expected to report to campus and begin their academic engagements on Saturday, January 3, 2026, while continuing regular students will report a week later on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Fresher's Orientation
- Regular freshers: Monday, January 5 to Saturday, Jan 10, 2026.
- Distance freshers: Wed, January 7 to Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Registration
- Fresh and distance students (online): Monday, January 12 to Friday, January 23, 2026.
Medical Exams
- Fresh regular students: Thursday, January 15 to Friday, January 23, 2026
Lectures and Tutorials
- Regular lectures: Monday, January 12 to Friday, April 3, 2026
- Distance tutorials: Saturday, January 10 to Sun, March 29, 2026
These dates signal the formal resumption of academic and administrative activities for the new academic year, as the university prepares to welcome both newly admitted and returning students.
