West Gonja Municipal Juvenile League Kickoff in Grand Style 

The West Gonja Municipal Juvenile League 2025/2026 season has commenced with promising performances. A total of 14 teams are participating in this season's competition: 8 teams in U13 and 6 teams in U15.

The teams in the U13 category are

Damongo United tops the U13 table following a 4:2 victory over One Way Stars, with Green Rangers and Hatrick Heroes closely trailing after Matchweek 1. In the U15 category, Damongo United secured a 2-0 win against Green Rangers, while Bikunu Rising Stars overcame Hatrick Heroes 4-2 after trailing initially.

A total of 5 yellow cards were issued in the U13 category, and 9 yellow cards were given in the U15 category, with 3 red cards shown in the U15 category. The U13 category witnessed 6 goals, while the U15 category recorded 8 goals.

The league is anticipated to nurture grassroots talent for the municipality, contributing to the revitalization of juvenile football in Ghana.
