How to Apply for 2025/2026 GETFund Scholarship

The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has opened applications for its 2025/26 Local Scholarship Programme, covering Undergraduate, Master's, and PhD studies in public tertiary institutions across Ghana.

To begin the application process, applicants must visit the official GETFund Scholarship Portal. First-time users are required to create an account using a valid email address and personal details. After successful registration, applicants should log in and complete the online application form with accurate information, including personal data, academic background, and the chosen course of study.

What applicants are required to do

Applicants are also required to upload relevant documents. These usually include admission letters, academic transcripts or results, a birth certificate, a national identification card, and a recommendation letter. All documents must be clear, authentic, and submitted in the required format.

Interested and eligible applicants are required to apply through the official GETFund scholarship portal at https://scholarships.getfund.gov.gh/.

How to Apply for the GETFund Scholarship

1. Applications must be submitted only through the official GETFund scholarship portal.

2. GETFund has not appointed any agents or intermediaries to assist with applications.

3. Any individual or group claiming to act on behalf of GETFund should be reported immediately.

4. All correspondence will be conducted directly between GETFund and applicants.

5. Successful applicants will be shortlisted and may be invited for further verification or interviews.

6. Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in public universities are advised to seek financial support through the Students Loan Trust Fund.

The final list of awardees will be published on official GETFund platforms.
