The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has announced an extension of the first semester course registration deadline for the 2025/2026 academic year. The decision is aimed at providing students who are yet to complete their registration with additional time to regularize their academic records.
All continuing regular students are hereby informed that the deadline for the first semester course registration for 2025/2026 has been extended to Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to the university, the extension is to accommodate challenges faced by some students, including issues related to fee payment, portal access, and course selection. Management has therefore urged all affected students to take advantage of the extended period to complete their registration to avoid the University (UEW) registration regulations.
UEW further reminded all students that failure to register within the stipulated period will result in automatic deferral relating to the university rules and regulations on registration, which will be strictly enforced.
Students are advised to visit the official UEW website or contact their faculty offices for further details.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth academic process and encouraged students to comply promptly with all registration requirements.
