CTVET extends the registration deadline for the May/June 2026 Certificate II and other technical examinations.
The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has officially extended the registration deadline for the May/June 2026 Certificate II and other Technical Examinations, giving candidates additional time to complete their applications.
In a statement released on February 2, 2026, and signed by Director General Dr. Prince Nyarkoh, all schools, training centers, and private candidates were urged to note that the extension is intended to accommodate prospective applicants who were unable to meet the initial deadline. The move is expected to ease pressure on institutions and ensure that more eligible trainees can participate in the upcoming examinations.
Candidates are advised to use the extended window to finalize their registration details, submit required documents, before the required date stated
CTVET emphasized that no further extensions may be granted after the new deadline and urged all stakeholders to treat the opportunity as final.
Deadline for Registration
The new deadline for the registration of candidates for the May/June 2026 Certificate II and other technical examinations has been extended to 24 February 2026.
The May/June 2026 examinations remain a key pathway for trainees seeking certification and advancement in Ghana’s technical and vocational education sector.
