President John Dramani Mahama is today delivering the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA) before Parliament, outlining the government’s assessment of Ghana’s current condition and its priorities for the year ahead.

The annual address, required under Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, provides a comprehensive update on key sectors such as the Economy, Health, Education, Agriculture, and Infrastructure. It also sets the tone for major policy and legislative actions for the year.

Ahead of the speech, stakeholders and Members of Parliament called on the President to present practical solutions to pressing challenges, particularly youth unemployment and the cost of living.
