President Mahama Appoints Three Deputy Comptroller-Generals to Strengthen Ghana Immigration Service
President John Dramani Mahama has approved the appointment of three Deputy Comptroller-Generals to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) as part of efforts to strengthen the leadership and operational efficiency of the Service.
The appointments, announced in a press release issued by the GIS Public Affairs Department, elevate the officers from their previous positions to senior leadership roles.

The newly appointed Deputy Comptroller-Generals are:
- DCGI Evelyn Lolonyo Lotsu, who will head the Finance and Administration Directorate.
- DCGI Faisal Disu, appointed to lead the Command Post and Operations Directorate.
- DCGI Philip Peter Andoh, who will oversee the Legal, Research and Monitoring Directorate.
According to the statement, the appointments were made on the recommendation of the Ghana Immigration Service Governing Council and with the advice of the Public Services Commission, in recognition of the officers' professionalism, leadership, and dedicated service.
Comptroller-General of Immigration Samuel Basintale Amadu congratulated the newly appointed deputies, expressing confidence in their ability to strengthen the Service, promote good governance, and contribute to Ghana's national security and development.
He also assured them of the full support of the GIS management as they assume their new responsibilities.
