GATISA Super Zonal Competitions 2026: Greater Accra TVET Students Gear Up for Major Sports Festival at Borteyman
Excitement is building across the Greater Accra Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) community as students prepare for the highly anticipated GATISA Super Zonal Competitions 2026.
The Greater Accra Regional TVET Sports Festival, known as GATISA Super Zonal Competitions 2026, is set to bring together technical and vocational education students for a two-day celebration of sports, skills, and teamwork.
The festival, scheduled for July 23rd to 24th, 2026, will take place at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra under the theme: “Healthy Bodies, Skilled Hands: Powering Ghana’s Industrial Future Through Sports.”
The event will feature exciting competitions in Football and Athletics, providing a platform for students to showcase their sporting talents while promoting fitness, discipline, and unity among TVET institutions in the Greater Accra Region.
Organizers say the festival forms part of efforts by the Ghana TVET Service to encourage the holistic development of students by combining technical training with physical education and healthy lifestyles.
The initiative seeks to nurture skilled, confident, and productive young professionals who can contribute to Ghana’s industrial transformation.
The festival will also promote fair play and ethical conduct through the official campaign hashtag TVETPLAYSFAIR, with the message: “We play fair, we cheer fair.”
The event is supported by partners including EVARPLAS BEVERAGES and FANMILK GHANA, whose contributions continue to support youth development and vocational education.
Participants and the public can contact the organizers for further enquiries through: 0244980713 / 0244164954 / 0507726457.
As anticipation builds, GATISA SuZo 2026 promises to be a memorable showcase of sporting excellence, technical skills, and the spirit of TVET in Ghana.
