The group has been accused of labeling a 70-year-old man as a wizard responsible for the deaths of two individuals in the Ghangu community.

The reports highlighted that Kwabena Kwayamic, as the community regent, incited the other suspects to ignite a fire at the victim’s residence, resulting in significant property damage.

A statement by the Police revealed that on June 19, 2025, the Police, through an intelligence-led operation, successfully arrested the suspects and recovered a locally manufactured pistol, a single-barrel gun, three AA cartridges, and four BB cartridges in the possession of suspect Foariton Jatika.
