Bank of Ghana Releases Latest Exchange Rates for Friday, June 27, 2025
The Bank of Ghana has released the official interbank exchange rates for Friday, June 27, 2025.
These rates reflect the average prices used by commercial banks for foreign exchange transactions as of the close of business on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
According to the released by the Bank of Ghana (BoG), the Ghanaian cedi (GH₵) continues to experience fluctuations against major foreign currencies, including the US dollar (USD), British pound sterling (GBP), and the euro (EUR).
The latest publication by Bank of Ghana (BoG) , the US dollar is being bought at GH¢10.3048 and sold at GH¢10.3152. This means that individuals or institutions purchasing dollars from a bank will pay GH¢10.3152 per dollar, while those selling their dollars to the bank will receive GH¢10.3048 for each one.
The British pound sterling continues to maintain a significant lead over the cedi, with a buying rate of GH¢14.1630 and a selling rate of GH¢14.1782. This indicates that anyone seeking to acquire pounds must pay over GH¢14 per pound, reflecting the pound’s ongoing strength relative to the cedi.
In the case of the euro, the currency is being exchanged at a buying rate of GH¢12.0700 and a selling rate of GH¢12.0799. Like the other major currencies, the euro remains stronger than the cedi, reinforcing its value in international trade and travel.
As of Wednesday, June 24, 2025, the Ghanaian Cedi remains relatively stable around ₵10.37 to the US dollar.
