Kasoa Millennium City Under Siege: Security Agencies Must Act to Stop Landguard Patrick Ndego's Reign of Havoc.
Residents of Kasoa Millennium City in the Central Region are living in fear as the activities of a notorious landguard, identified as Patrick Ndego, continue to wreak havoc in the community. Reports indicate that Patrick has been involved in violent land grabbing, destruction of property, and alleged killings, using intimidation and brute force to confiscate lands from rightful owners.
According to multiple sources, Patrick Ndego claims ownership of lands he has no legal title to, terrorizing unsuspecting victims under the guise of being a National Security Operative, a false identity allegedly linked to his political affiliations with the NDC.
His operations have reportedly been aided by some corrupt elements within the Kasoa police command.
Disturbingly, Patrick Ndego has been implicated in several violent incidents, including his alleged role as the reason behind the killing of a military officer by an individual known as Ben Lord in 2024. Despite his violent track record, Patrick remains at large and continues to perpetrate his illegal activities with impunity.
The latest incident involves an attempt to seize land belonging to a middle-aged woman at Millennium City Sector 4, One Leg Junction, near the transformer and behind blogger Zion Felix’s building.
Reports indicate that despite the involvement of the Kasoa police, Patrick has failed to provide any legitimate documentation to support his claim to the land.
Instead, he has resorted to threats, vowing to make life unbearable for the woman. This raises a critical question: Why has Patrick not been prosecuted despite the overwhelming evidence of his criminal acts?
Community members have also accused Patrick of operating over 100 land litigation cases currently pending in Kasoa courts, many of which involve violence, intimidation, and the use of thugs to eliminate rivals.
His tactics reportedly include using a fake TikTok account under the name “kasoatotheworld1” to post misleading information and target innocent people, putting their lives in danger by setting them up for attacks.
The situation calls for urgent intervention by the Ghana Police Service, the Ministry of National Security, and other relevant security agencies to dismantle this landguard network and restore law and order in Kasoa. The silence and inaction of the authorities risk emboldening criminal elements and eroding public trust in the justice system.
We call on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Central Regional Police Command, the National Security Secretariat, and the Ministry of Interior to immediately investigate the activities of Patrick Ndego, his collaborators, and the alleged involvement of corrupt police officers. Additionally, steps must be taken to protect the life of the woman he is currently threatening and all other victims of his intimidation tactics.
Landguardism remains a major security threat in Ghana, and Kasoa Millennium City is fast becoming a hotbed for such criminal syndicates. The time to act is now, before more lives are lost.
