SLTF Extends Deadline for “No Fees Stress” Initiative – Apply Now
The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has officially extended the application deadline for its widely welcomed “No Fees Stress” Policy for 2024/2025 academic year. This extension offers a timely relief to students across the country who are struggling to pay their academic fees.
Originally set to close earlier, the new deadline provides additional time for eligible applicants to submit their documents and benefit from the flexible student loan package. The “No Fees Stress” initiative aims to remove the financial barrier to higher education by offering loans to cover tuition and other academic costs, ensuring that no student is left behind due to lack of funds.
In a letter signed and released on July 31, 2025, by Obeng Agyenim Boateng, Corporate Communications Directorate of the Students Loan Trust Fund, it was confirmed that it has been extended to Thursday, August 7, 2025.
However, the deadline for submissions of the application process is August 7, 2025.
SLTF encourages all prospective tertiary students to take advantage of this opportunity and apply via the official online portal. With the extended deadline, thousands more students now have the chance to access funding support to stay in school without interruption.
