Bank of Ghana releases daily exchange rates for Thursday, September 25, 2025

The Bank of Ghana has released the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday, September 25, 2025. providing clarity on the buying and selling values of major foreign currencies against the Ghanaian cedi.

The cedi traded against the US dollar at a buying rate of GH¢12.2939 and a selling rate of GH¢12.3062, reflecting relative stability against the world’s most traded currency. The dollar remains a key benchmark in shaping international trade flows and sustaining local investor confidence.

Against the British pound sterling, the cedi recorded a buying rate of GH¢16.5352 and a selling rate of GH¢16.5530. With the UK maintaining strong trade and investment links with Ghana, movements in the pound remain crucial for businesses and policymakers alike.

The euro also saw steady exchange levels, with the cedi posting a buying rate of GH¢14.4312 and a selling rate of GH¢14.4442. The eurozone continues to be a critical partner in Ghana’s export and import activities, making this rate significant for cross-border trade.
