Bank of Ghana Releases Latest Exchange Rates for Thursday, September 11, 2025

Ghana Cedi against US Dollar

The Bank of Ghana has released the latest interbank exchange rates for Thursday, September 11, 2025, providing insight into the performance of major foreign currencies against the Ghanaian cedi.

According to the update, the United States dollar has maintained stability, while the British pound sterling and the euro recorded upward adjustments.

At the close of trading on Wednesday, September 10, the US dollar was buying at Gh¢12.0940 and selling at Gh¢12.1061, reflecting a relatively stable exchange position amid global market fluctuations.

The British pound sterling remained firm, buying at Gh¢16.3861 and selling at Gh¢16.4037, while the euro followed suit, buying at Gh¢14.1773 and selling at Gh¢14.1913.

Analysts suggest that the minimal rate shifts indicate a cautious but controlled market environment, thanks to prudent monetary policies and recent foreign reserve injections by the central bank.

The steadiness of the cedi comes as welcome news to importers, traders, and businesses closely monitoring currency trends for pricing and forecasting.

The Bank of Ghana continues to monitor exchange trends and urges the public to rely on verified sources such as www.bog.gov.gh and its official social media handles for accurate updates.

Currency watchers remain hopeful as Ghana’s cedi holds its ground in a volatile global economy
