2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy—(See full text...)
The Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has presented the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of government to Parliament.
He used the opportunity to announce to the House that the COVID-19 levy has been abolished.
He clarified that this will ensure that business owners get some relief.
The Finance Minister also touched on various sectors of the economy and how government intends to address prevailing challenges.
