UEW Announces Reopening Date for 2025/2026 Academic Year
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has officially announced the reopening date for the 2025/2026 academic year, bringing clarity and excitement to both fresh and continuing students.
According to the university’s academic schedule, students are expected to report to campus on Saturday, January 3, 2026 (fresh students—regular), and Saturday, January 10, 2026 (continuing students—regular), to begin registration and other preparatory activities ahead of lectures.
Lectures for the new academic year are slated to commence on Monday, January 13, 2025, giving students ample time to settle into their halls, complete course registrations, and familiarize themselves with the university environment.
University authorities have urged students to adhere strictly to the reopening timelines to ensure a smooth start to the academic year.
They have also encouraged all returning and newly admitted students to make necessary preparations, including fee payments and accommodation arrangements, ahead of their arrival.
