Police arrest 27 suspects in Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole (See Photos)

Police swoop on some of the suspects.

The Savannah Regional Police Command has arrested 27 persons for drug-related offenses.

This is the outcome of a special Christmas operation in Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole.

This is contained in a statement posted on the Facebook page of the Ghana Police Service on December 26.

The suspects, including women, were found to have in their possession various kinds of drugs and leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
