UDS Opens Sale of Admission Forms for 2026/2027 Academic Year — Apply Now
The University for Development Studies (UDS) has officially opened the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic year, inviting prospective students to begin their journey toward higher education at one of Ghana’s leading public universities.
According to the University, the sale of admission forms will commence on Friday, January 16, 2026, and is open to qualified applicants across the country.

The University is offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across its faculties and schools, including programmes in Development Studies, Agriculture, Applied Sciences, Education, Health Sciences, and related disciplines. Admission Criteria
Applicants seeking admission into undergraduate programmes must possess acceptable WASSCE, SSSCE, or equivalent qualifications, in line with UDS admission requirements. WASSCE candidates writing the May/June 2026 exams may apply as Awaiting Results applicants, giving current students a chance to secure spots before their results are released.
Postgraduate applicants must hold a recognised first degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the programme being applied for, in accordance with University regulations.
E-vouchers for admission applications are available for purchase at eight designated banks nationwide, marking the beginning of the application period for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Application Fees and Sale of E-Vouchers
Prospective applicants are required to purchase an official UDS e-voucher to apply online. The approved application fees are:
- Undergraduate application e-vouchers are priced at GH¢200.
- Postgraduate application e-vouchers are available for GH¢250.

Banks Where UDS E-Vouchers Can Be Obtained
UDS e-vouchers will be sold at eight designated banks across the country, including:
- Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)
- Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)
- Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG)
- Ecobank Ghana
- Zenith Bank
- Prudential Bank
- Republic Bank
- Stanbic Bank
Applicants are advised to obtain vouchers only from these approved banks.
Campus Placement Notice
All Level 100 applicants for programmes under the Faculty of Sustainable Development Studies will be placed at the Eastern Campus in Yendi.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply early and follow the official application instructions via the UDS admissions portal to avoid delays.
