Step-by-step on how to access your Ghana police, prisons, immigration, and national fire services aptitude test
The aptitude test will be conducted entirely online and is scheduled to take place between Tuesday, February 10 and Sunday, February 22, 2026, depending on the applicant's category. Access to the test will be granted strictly through the applicant's recruitment portal within the approved timelines.
Where and When to Access the Test
Qualified applicants are required to log in to their recruitment portals during the dates assigned to their category. The test link will only be visible on the portal within the approved testing window.
NVTI, JHS, sportsmen, and other certificate holders: Tuesday, February 10 to Friday, February 13, 2026
HND, degree, and master's degree holders: Saturday, February 14, to Tuesday, February 17, 2026
WASSCE applicants: Wednesday, February 18, to Sunday, February 22, 2026
Applicants who applied to more than one service are required to take the aptitude test only once, except where they applied under different categories across different services.
Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing the Aptitude Test
1. Visit the official recruitment portal at https://app.c-serpgh.com/.
2. Log in using your application credentials.
3. Navigate to your applicant dashboard.
4. During your category's testing period, locate the Aptitude Test or Start Test button.
5. Click on the button to begin the mandatory system enrolment process.
What Happens After You Click "Start Test"
Once the test is initiated, applicants will go through an enrolment stage designed to verify identity and readiness for the examination. This process includes:
1. Webcam calibration and liveness detection to confirm the identity of the test
2. Internet strength and background noise checks to ensure a stable testing environment.
Technical Requirements Applicants Must Note
Applicants are strongly advised to use a desktop or laptop computer with a functional webcam and microphone. The use of mobile phones is highly discouraged due to system limitations and monitoring requirements. Candidates must ensure a stable internet connection, sit in a well-lit and quiet environment, and maintain proper face alignment within the proctoring frame throughout the test.
The aptitude test is deployed with enhanced Al proctoring features, including live session recording and random image captures, to detect impersonation or examination malpractice.
Test Rules
1. The test cannot be paused, saved, or restarted once it begins.
2. The system will automatically submit the test when the allocated time elelapses.
3. All questions must be answered before moving to the next one.
3. Any attempt to allow another person to take the test on behalf of the applicant will attract sanctions.
