60-year-old woman’s bite kills a young man after a burial ceremony dispute in Ada.
A 60-year-old woman has been accused of aa a young man to death following a confrontation at Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
The deceased, identified as Mark Kumado Apodei, popularly known as “Zidane,” reportedly got into an altercation with the woman, Allasan Sarpor, after plucking some leaves to wash his hands shortly after attending a burial.
According to reports, the seemingly minor incident escalated when the woman, together with her son, confronted the young man. In the course of the confrontation, a struggle ensued, during which the woman allegedly bit him.
Witnesses say the victim later collapsed and died shortly after the incident, raising shock and concern within the community.
The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, and authorities are expected to investigate the incident to determine the exact cause of death and the events leading up to it.
