No Ongoing Recruitment — GES Cautions Public Against Fake Job Notice
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has debunked reports of an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing a widely circulated notice as false and misleading.
In a statement issued on March 24, 2026, GES clarified that the document, which claims to announce the recruitment of graduate teachers and other staff into Senior High Schools, did not originate from the Service and should be ignored.
According to GES, the fake notice alleged that financial clearance had been secured for new recruitment and directed interested applicants to apply via WhatsApp. It also listed requirements such as completion of National Service and passing the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), while indicating limited openings for non-teaching roles.
GES has, however, firmly stated that no such recruitment process is currently underway. The Service cautioned the public, especially job seekers, to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to scammers who exploit such false information.
GES further urged the public to depend solely on its official communication platforms for credible updates on recruitment and other matters.
