Three killed, burnt beyond recognition in Nkwanta South conflict
Tensions have intensified in the Nkwanta South Municipality after three people were brutally killed in connection with the ongoing local conflict.
The victims — 77-year-old Nana Achinake Iddrisu, 24-year-old Fusheni Achinake, and 17-year-old Nuhu Achinake — were reportedly attacked while working on their farm and burnt beyond recognition.
The incident has deepened fear and panic among residents, prompting many to flee as the security situation continues to worsen.
Sources indicate that the area has been largely abandoned, with rising tensions fueling fears of further violence.
No arrests have been made so far, and investigations are still underway.
