The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has departed Accra after successfully concluding his state visit to Ghana.

President Mnangagwa left the country on Friday, April 3, 2026, following a series of high-level engagements focused on strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

As part of his itinerary, he visited the Sweden Ghana Medical Centre, where he was briefed on the facility’s healthcare services and infrastructure.

The visit is expected to deliver tangible outcomes, with key institutions in both countries set to begin implementing the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the engagement—agreements aimed at deepening cooperation and enhancing collaboration between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
