Two Students in Violent Clash After WASSCE Paper at Mankranso SHS
Two students of Mankranso Senior High School were involved in a violent altercation shortly after writing their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) paper.
A video circulating on social media and shared by Daily View GH, as observed on May 15, 2026, captures the two male students engaged in a fierce physical confrontation on a cemented compound while several other students looked on.
In the footage, the students are seen exchanging punches, wrestling each other to the ground, and engaging in a prolonged scuffle. At one point, one of the students appeared to place the other in a chokehold as the fight intensified.
Although a crowd gathered around the scene, only a few bystanders attempted to intervene and stop the altercation.
The exact cause of the confrontation remains unknown.
The video also shows moments before the fight broke out, with both students appearing visibly angry and exchanging heated gestures before the situation escalated into violence.
The incident has since triggered widespread reactions on social media, with many expressing concern over increasing cases of indiscipline among students.
