GES Announces 2026 Recruitment Update for Applicants

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the timeline for its ongoing recruitment process, assuring applicants that all submitted applications are currently under review.

In a statement dated 23rd June 2026, GES stated that it appreciates the interest of applicants who wish to serve the nation through the Service. The management indicated that applications are being carefully reviewed to ensure that all candidates meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the recruitment advertisement.

According to the schedule released by GES:

By 30th June 2026: Review of all applications will be completed.

By 20th July 2026: Shortlisted candidates will be announced.

20th July – 31st August 2026: Onboarding processes will take place at the Regional and District levels.

GES further disclosed that successful applicants are expected to assume duty on 31st August 2026.

The Service thanked all applicants for their patience and understanding throughout the recruitment process and wished them success.
