GRASAG-UCC Announces Revised Re-Opening Dates for 2026/2027 Academic Year (Check Out New Date).
The Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG), University of Cape Coast (UCC) Chapter, has announced revised reopening dates for postgraduate students ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year.
According to an official notice issued by GRASAG-UCC, fresh postgraduate students are expected to report to the University on September 12, 2026, while continuing postgraduate students will re-open on September 19, 2026.
The association said the dates represent a revision of the earlier academic schedule and urged all postgraduate students to take note and make the necessary preparations for the commencement of the new academic year.
Orientation for Fresh Postgraduate Students
As part of the arrangements for the new academic year, orientation for fresh postgraduate students has been scheduled for September 17, 2026.
The orientation programme is expected to familiarise newly admitted students with the University's academic regulations, facilities, procedures and other important aspects of postgraduate life at UCC.
Fee Payment Deadline
GRASAG-UCC has also reminded fresh postgraduate students that the deadline for the payment of fees is September 11, 2026.
Students have therefore been encouraged to settle their fees before the deadline to avoid possible challenges with registration and other admission-related processes.
The association further advised students to adhere to the revised academic calendar and comply with all deadlines to ensure a smooth start to the 2026/2027 academic year.
GRASAG-UCC encouraged postgraduate students to refer to the official notice for complete details on the revised re-opening arrangements.
The association also assured students that it will continue to provide timely updates on any further changes or developments from the University of Cape Coast management.
Meanwhile, postgraduate students have been advised to make their travel and accommodation arrangements early to avoid last-minute difficulties as the new academic year approaches.
