University of Cape Coast announces new dates for 59th Congregation
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially announced the postponement of its 59th Graduation Ceremony, which was initially scheduled to take place from November 25 to November 28, 2026.
In an official notice issued by the Directorate of Academic Affairs and dated November 2, 2026, the University informed its community and the general public that the graduation ceremony had been rescheduled to January 8–17, 2027.
The notice, signed by the Director of Academic Affairs, Dr Atta Yeboah-Sampong, urged all graduands and other stakeholders to take note of the change in date and make the necessary preparations for the programme.
The University also apologised to graduands, their families, and other stakeholders for any inconvenience the postponement might cause.
The announcement means that graduands who were preparing to celebrate their academic achievements in November will now have to wait until January 2027 for the University's 59th Graduation Ceremony.
All affected graduands and stakeholders are therefore encouraged to take note of the revised dates and follow official University communication for further updates regarding the ceremony.
