Madina Technical Institute (MTI) has kicked off its much-anticipated Student Representatives Council (SRC) Week 2025 with a vibrant display of culture, innovation, and student leadership.
The information reaching the Ghana Media Trend desk stated, The SRC week, which was supposed to commence on May 5, was shifted to May 7 due to concern reasons; however, here we go.
The celebration, which began on May 7, promises a week filled with exciting activities aimed at promoting unity, creativity, and student development.
Under the theme “Balancing Academic with Fun,” the SRC Week features a lineup of events including floating, career talks, entrepreneurship exhibitions, Inter-House Math and Science Quiz, inter-departmental games, a grand cultural display (Miss MTI), Fun Fair, and an excursion.

About the Excursion
The upcoming excursion to Boti Waterfall and the Umbrella (Rock) on May 10, 2025.
Students are also participating in a quiz competition, talent show, and clean-up exercise to demonstrate both academic prowess and civic responsibility.
The SRC president, Doris Boateng, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of technical education in nation-building and praised the student body for their enthusiasm and cooperation. The week will climax with a fun-filled excursion and an awards ceremony to honor outstanding students and staff.
