A tragic incident has reportedly occurred in Nkawkaw, where 19-year-old student from Nkawkaw Senior High School student is currently battling for his life after a brutal attack allegedly carried out by a security guard at a church premises.

The victim, identifies as Opoku is currently receiving urgent medical care at Koforidua Regional Hospital, where doctors are working to stabilize his condition following the violent encounter.

According to the report, the victim, identified as Opoku, had reportedly left the school with authorization when he was confronted and severely injured by Yaw Donkor, a guard at the Arena of Love Church. What began as an ordinary moment at the church premises quickly escalated into a shocking act of violence that left residents and church members stunned.

Eyewitnesses say the altercation between the young student and the security guard intensified unexpectedly, eventually leading to the guard allegedly attacking the teenager with a weapon. The assault reportedly left the victim with serious injuries, prompting panic among people who were present at the scene.

Concerned individuals quickly intervened to assist the injured student while arrangements were made to transport him to the hospital for emergency treatment. Medical personnel at the Koforidua Regional Hospital are said to be closely monitoring his condition as he continues to receive care.
