NSA issues Important Notice to all National Service Personnel
The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued an important directives to all National Service Personnel (NSP) currently deployed to institutions under the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOSAG) that they are not parties to the ongoing industrial action declared by the Association.
In a letter issued on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and signed by Director General Ruth Dela Seddoh, it stated that the Authority has observed that the strike action by CLOSAG has affected operations in some institutions where National Service Personnel have been deployed.
However, management wishes to emphasize that National Service Personnel are not members of CLOSAG and therefore not covered by the strike action.
According to the Authorities, all NSP serving in institutions under CLOSAG are required to continue reporting to their respective places of posting and carry out their assigned duties as expected.
Management therefore urges all affected NSP to remain committed to their national duty and offer their services in support of the institutions to which they have been assigned.
The Authority appreciates the cooperation and dedication of all National Service Personnel in contributing to national development.
