KNUST Releases Undergraduate Admission Forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Year
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially released undergraduate admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic year, opening the door for prospective students to apply for a wide range of programmes.
According to the university, applications are now open for undergraduate and top-up programmes, with the new academic year expected to commence on October 13, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to begin the process early to avoid last-minute challenges and ensure successful submission.
The admission process requires candidates to purchase an E-Voucher via the *447*160# shortcode or obtained through approved banks, selected post offices, with applications processed through the official admissions portal Application Portal: Visit apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions.
The application fee is approximately GH¢250 for Ghanaian applicants and US$100 for international applicants.
KNUST has outlined that deadlines vary depending on applicant categories, with mature students, international applicants, and those with foreign qualifications expected to submit their applications by August 31, 2026, while WASSCE candidates may apply until their results are released.

The university also reiterated the importance of applying through official channels and warned applicants against dealing with unauthorized agents to avoid fraud.
