Step-by-Step Guide to Checking the 2026 WASSCE Private (First Series) Results
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of candidates who sat for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates (First Series).
Candidates can conveniently check their results online via the official WAEC Ghana portal at https://ghana.waecdirect.org
To access the results, candidates will need a WAEC results voucher, which can be obtained by dialing *713*3998# or purchasing online at https://buycheckercodes.com.gh
Steps to check your results on your phone:
- Open your web browser (such as Chrome or Safari) and visit the WASSCE results portal: https://ghana.waecdirect.org
- Enter your Index Number in the required field
- Select the Examination Type (e.g., WASSCE Private)
- Choose the Examination Year (e.g., 2026)
- Enter the Serial Number on your Results Voucher
- Input the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the voucher
- Confirm that your Index Number and Examination Year are correct
- Click “Submit” to proceed
- Accept the terms by clicking “Agree”
- Your Nov/Dec (WASSCE for Private) results will appear in a pop-up window
WAEC has cautioned candidates and the general public to be vigilant and avoid individuals or groups who claim they can upgrade results for a fee, describing such claims as fraudulent.
The Council further advised candidates to rely solely on official platforms when checking their results.
